Ziggy Part 2

Here is part 2 of our interview with Ziggy, one of our newest Cul2vators. If you missed part 1, you can read it here. In this installment, Ziggy shares his personal growth, future goals, and how Cul2vate is helping him on his journey.

What are you beginning to learn about yourself as a result of this program?

Hmm, well, I’ll tell you one thing, I’m growing. I’m growing in my faith. And then every Monday, I pick up something new with the prayer circles and Bible studies that we do. So, that’s awesome, but just to learn and grow with other people, but in a good way, and to actually be around people that want you to grow and do good. Because, you know, I came from a past of people that wanted bad for me, just wanted me to do nothing but bad, and you know, I did. But now I have people actually applauding me and rooting me on, it’s awesome. So, I enjoy it and I’m learning a lot here, and I’m very thankful to be here.

Think ahead 2-3 years. If everything goes exactly as you hope it will, how will your life be different than it is today? How has being a part of Cul2vate helped you to create that different life?

In two to three years, I hope my family is fully restored, because I lost my family going to prison. But, you know, thank God that they’re still around and I’m still able to have the chance to mend that relationship and have the chance to get my family back. And hopefully, in two to three years, we’re all a family again, we’re all together. And you know, that’s something I really want, that’s something I’m really chasing. And Cul2vate is helping me grow. Cul2vate is full of awesome people, loving people, and I can tell that y’all care, and that’s awesome because I come from a background where people don’t care what happens to you. But I can tell here at Cul2vate that they want what’s best for you. And if I’m here two to three years from now, I already know I’m gonna be prospering, I’m gonna be full of blessings. So, you know, thanks to Cul2vate, they’re going to make that happen.
